Here's what a few of our clients have to say:

orange cat
Here's the "Bad Boy" (Fisher Winterburg) after he's calmed down with his flower essences.

"Two cats in our house have worked with Nancy about their "issues." First, Fisher. He's a Bad Boy when he has to go to the vet! He's a big guy who weighs over 20 pounds, and when he sees the crate, he's all teeth and claws. You can NOT get him into the crate to transport him! But he had a really bad, mysterious skin infection, and he desperately needed medical assistance, so. . . we had to get him there. Nancy gave us some Claustrophobia essences, and some Rescue Remedy™; I doused him with the essences and I couldn't believe the change.

He calmed right down, went into the crate without any fuss, and rode quietly to the vet. He didn't even cause a scene trying to get him back into the crate for the return trip home, either -- which was a pleasant surprise for the vet, who couldn't handle him either when he was being his Bad Boy self! What a relief. Now, whenever he has to go to the vet, we just use the flowers, and he does fine.

Fisher and Rainbeau snuggled on the couch
Feral kitten Rain Winterburg has turned into a cuddler ever since he got his flower essences. Here he is with his new "best buddy" Fisher (who used to try to tear him apart)!

Now, the other cat, Rainbeau, came to us as a rescue kitten from a feral litter. He was tame, but there was friction with the adult cats already in the house (Fisher and another mellow adult male.) Rain's life depended on us all being able to get along, and we needed some help ~ fast ~ because it was getting ugly!

So we asked Nancy to make some special formulas for both Fisher and Rain, and within days, they were getting along great. It was amazing.

Now, Rainbeau is a little wild from time to time (letting off excess energy) but he gets along beautifully with the other cats, and they really like him, too. It was the flower essences that helped them turn the tide, and become the happy kitty family they are today. Thank you, Nancy ~ and thanks for the flowers!"

"Honey was a sweet golden retriever. As she got older, she began to develop certain fears.

Honey Scarinci, calm as can be, with her friend Cicero.

One of them was a fear of the oven. Actually it was a fear of the smoke detector going off when I used the oven. You see, I had an old self-cleaning oven that I was afraid to clean because it was so old and I feared it wouldn't last through the cleaning. So it was very dirty and often smoked when I used it. The smoke would set the smoke detector off which scared Honey. Eventually I had to replace the old oven. But every time Honey heard something sizzling in the new oven, she anticipated the smoke detector sound and would shake, attempt to run out of the house, or eat the blinds in an attempt to get out the window. It was just awful. She acted the same way whenever she heard firecrackers or thunder. I first sought help from my vet who prescribed Acepromazine. It zonked her--for days. That was unacceptable. Then I tried a flower essence. It calmed her without knocking her out; took the edge off the fear so that she was no longer shaking or trying to run away."

"Cochise, my 8 y/o Pembroke Welsh Corgi spent the first 9 months of his life as a kennel dog, not the most auspicious environment for a dog with a personality as soft as his and he suffered for it. He was a gentle soul, who did not know how to play or even present that famous corgi grin, and who came to live in the city from a country environment. Urban noises terrified him, causing him to tremble so badly you could actually watch the "waves" of terror course under his skin.

Happy in a two-pack home, the addition two years later of another dog caused Cochise a great deal of fear, anxiety and distress. A once quiet dog, he began barking and growling at the interloper and fights ensued. Always getting the worst of the situation, his attitude and demeanor continued to decline. He was stressed. Not wanting to use chemicals or pharmaceuticals to help him overcome his difficulties, I concentrated on changing group dynamics and behavior adjustments. More was needed, however, and I turned to holistic and natural approaches. Traditional Chinese medicines and flower essences proved to be what Cochise (and the rest of the crew needed).

I "discovered" Nancy later and learned she was a certified Bach Flower Essence Therapist who worked with both humans and animals. Living with a corgi or two certainly added credence in my book! We worked together for the first time in 2003 and after a very thorough phone consultation, she developed two sets of essences, particularly for Cochise, but useful for the rest of the crew as well. They worked marvelously! In fact, all I had to do is ask Cochise if he wanted his "flowers" and he would come running. After a couple of weeks, only an occasional dose of essences were needed for Cochise to regain and maintain his "harmony."

A year passed. We were out of Nancy's formulas. I had lost touch, but e-mailed her again hoping she was still "essencing" and that she remembered us. She was, and she did. I re-ordered and once again, have as a resource a treatment I consider essential to the well-being of my canine companions. An excellent therapy and alternative to allopathic treatments, the use of flower essences prepared from Nancy's expertise will always have a place in my home. I am forever grateful to have Nancy as part of my team, helping to re-align and maintain a most important aspect of life: emotional balance. Thank you, Nancy!"
